Our Provision

We are dedicated to providing flexible, high-quality provision all year round, warmly welcoming children from 6 months of age. Apollo Nursery is open Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, closing only on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Our core nursery day begins at 8:00 am, with an Early Start / Breakfast Club option available from 7:30 am, ensuring secure relationships where every child feels safe, valued, and understood from their very first day.

Our Location

We believe that early childhood should be a time of deep engagement, questioning, and exploration. As an all-weather setting, we view our outstanding local environment not just as a backdrop, but as an essential learning resource. Rain or shine, our children are supported to build meaningful connections with the natural world through integrated Forest School and Beach School opportunities as part of our core curriculum. This hands-on, nature-based approach fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to embarking on this wonderful learning journey with your child.

Our Funding

We strive to keep our fees, funding, and transparent invoicing clear, fair, and easy to understand. We are pleased to accept a wide range of government-funded childcare hours, allocated across your agreed booked pattern. We also proudly accept MOD funding to support our service families.

Our Nutrition

Beyond standard care, families have the option to choose from our food choices and Optional Enrichment Experiences. We are particularly proud of our approach to snacks and nutrition, where children are encouraged to help choose, prepare, and even grow their own food. Whether it is enjoying a healthy, hot lunch—which we encourage for its social and transition benefits—practising table manners, or developing independence, our children build a positive, rich relationship with food.
