Today, we were incredibly proud to officially open our doors and welcome family, friends, local professionals, and members of our community to celebrate our Grand Opening.
It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together so many of the people and organisations who have supported us throughout our journey and helped us reach this exciting milestone. We were also delighted to welcome representatives with whom we look forward to building strong, positive partnerships, including Family Hubs, Include Us 2, Dover College, and, of course, the fantastic team at Lydden Primary School.
We were especially honoured to be joined by Councillor Susan Beer, Chair of Dover District Council, who shared some lovely words and cut the ceremonial ribbon. We also heard from our Collective Director of Education and Practice, Callum Campbell-Mackenzie, who has dedicated so much care and hard work to bringing this setting to life.
Today was about much more than simply opening a building. It was a chance to celebrate the beginning of an exciting journey and the creation of a welcoming, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to join us, as well as all those who have supported, encouraged, and worked alongside us to make our vision a reality.
After all the planning, preparation, and dedication, we are delighted to say that the nursery is officially ready!
We open to our children and families on Monday, and we simply cannot wait to welcome you all, begin making memories together, and start this wonderful new chapter.
